Leominster Housing Authority

Leominster Housing Authority was established in 1948. The Agency’s mission is to provide safe, secure rental subsidies for families, elderly, and handicapped or disabled persons. Both the State and Federal Governments fund the programs. Depending upon the program, applicants can be housed either in private sector dwellings or apartment complexes owned by the Leominster Housing Authority. The information on our website will help you understand the programs available and the requirements to qualify for assistance.

Leominster Development Corporation

Leominster Development Corporation was formed in 1995 to develop and preserve affordable housing in our community. LDC has embarked on two developments to increase the number of affordable housing units in the community. The first project involved the purchase and renovation of three multi-family homes in Leominster. These three properties opened in 1998 and have provided good, safe housing for many families. In 2008 the Development Corporation opened Rockwell Village, a fourteen-unit townhome development built in the heart of downtown Leominster. These developments have been a real success for all involved.
